No one has it all figured out.

Sure you were prepared for college, AND at the same time, you were not. It’s time to drop the façade and start discovering yourself – your tribe awaits you.

“I created DearStudent Genesis because it’s needed. No, not because I’ve said so, but because, every frustrated scream, every teardrop in my office (and they’ve been many), every shouting outburst, every emotional breakdown and every confused blank stare has called for it.”

DearStudent Genesis Series Description

A dynamic series designed to encourage college students to discuss with each other; common issues that are likely universally experienced, but often individually lived. This is a community of brilliant young minds who know that they don’t have all the answers – but they sure are curious and eager to learn from their peers.

How Is DearStudent Genesis Structured?

A college faculty member, staff member, student organization advisor or reputable student leader must be the person to adopt DSG on their campus. This person must be committed to serving as the facilitator of the series as well as promoting the series on their campus. This person must also sign an agreement with DearStudent. The agreement requires the facilitator to sign and abide by a Code of Honor, require all participants including the facilitator to sign Confidentiality Forms, identify and request the necessary audio-visual space to be used on the campus, and organize free refreshments for participants.
